Single indoor
cricket net lane
Multiple indoor
cricket net lanes
|
Indoor Cricket Net Lanes
Indoor cricket net lane comprising 50mm white nets (wing nets, back nets and roof nets) with sight screens at the
batters end all supported on aluminium trackway. The lanes can be installed in any quantity to suit the hall size,
from single lanes upwards. These are easy to pull out or close with one person and store neatly back on the wall or alternatively they can be
winched to the ceiling.
Cricket indoor net lanes are normally 3m or 3.6m wide and can be made to any length to suit a sports hall. Track is
normally supported from the ceiling beams at 7.6m above floor level (to allow sufficient clearance for badminton) and
other sports. Our indoor net lanes are particularly easy to use and durable because we use FreeRoll ball raced runners which minimise
the force required to open and close the nets resulting in less stretching of the netting over time. We also use knotted
netting rather than knotless as it maintains its shape better over time. A bowlers end net should normally be provided either as a separate net along the end wall of the hall or alternatively
by extending the outer wing net round a 90 degree turn to the side wall.

Indoor Bowlers End Nets
Cricket indoor bowlers end net lane comprising a 50mm white nets supported on aluminium trackway. These are easy
to pull out or close with one person and store neatly back on the wall or alternatively they can be winched to the
ceiling. Bowlers end nets are normally the width of the sports hall (for a typical double lane installation) or linked to
the outer wing net track with a 7m track section. Track is normally supported from the ceiling beams at 7.6m above
floor level (to allow sufficient clearance for badminton) and other sports. Our nets are particularly easy to use and durable because we use FreeRoll ball raced runners which minimise the force
required to open and close the nets resulting in less stretching of the netting over time. We also use knotted netting
rather than knotless as it maintains its shape better over time. Bowlers end net comprising: - Alloy Spacespan track 7m long - FreeRoll ball raced trackway runners - Nets in 50mm white mesh - 1 wall fixed storage bag

Wall storage pouch
Ceiling storage pouch
|
Indoor Cricket Net Storage Pouches
Wall storage pouch:
Storage pouch in heavy duty nylon backed PVC cover with eyelets on both long edges (one edge for fixing to the
wall and one for lifting and attaching to the wall fittings). These are ideal for storing cricket net lanes or net curtains
where L or U shaped trackway has been fitted as this method stores the net parallel to the wall to minimise the
projection.
Cricket net lanes are normally 10' (3m) or 12' (3.6m) wide and the pouch should be just wide enough to ensure it properly
holds the net (if the lanes are very long eg over 25m you may need a slightly wider storage pouch). Nets should be properly stored to prevent them lying on the floor and becoming a trip hazard. We install our pouches
with the top edge of the pouch fitted to a wall at 2m and the 2 corner hooks positioned to hold the front edge taught.
We alternatively install storage bags for curtains and storage pouches for net lanes (for the full width of the lane) and
both of these can be either fixed to the wall or winched to the ceiling (electrically or manually) to keep side walls clear
if required. Standard sizes: - 3m wide - 6m wide - Custom sizes available on request - Contact us for details.
Ceiling storage pouch:
Heavy duty nylon backed PVC storage pouch supported in an aluminium frame which can be winched to the ceiling to
store the nets out of the way. These are essential where cricket net lanes back onto a wall where there is a long
projection wall hinged basketball goal or where the end wall also needs to be used for fixed PE equipment eg climbing
frames. Net lanes are normally 10' (3m) or 12' (3.6m) wide and the pouch should be 1.5m wider to ensure it properly
holds the net. Nets should be properly stored to prevent them lying on the floor and becoming a trip hazard. We supply and install
storage bags for curtains and storage pouches for net lanes (for the full width of the lane) and both of these can be
either fixed to the wall or winched to the ceiling (electrically or manually) to keep side walls clear if required. Comprises: - Alloy frame and end sections - PVC pouch - Overhead pulleys and track bracket - Lifting cables - Wall pulleys - Manual winch and wall fixings (electric winch is an optional extra)

Cricket Wicket Divider Nets
Cricket net dividing system ideal for dividing permanent wickets with 50mm green or black polypropylene wing nets.
This features 2.7m or 3m high steel posts which fit in permanent ground sockets and support a tensioned steel wire
from which the net is suspended. These run the full length of the wicket and allow the nets to be drawn back along
the top wire to allow access eg for mowing the wicket or edges. The system comprises 2 heavy duty galvanised steel 76mm square uprights, with green powder coating, one with a hook
and one with a winch system, a 4mm wire cable, net and net hooks for running along the wire cable. The posts need to
be fitted securely in the ground in the hinged lid sockets at a maximum span of 30m. Nets are available in black or green and should be ordered separately. Nets are attached to the wire headline with zinc
plated snap hooks or with stainless steel split rings. For the 2.7m high system order nets 2.85m x the required length and
for the 3m high system order nets 3.3m x the required length. Roof nets can also be fitted up to a maximum
length of 7.3m.
For greater division lengths or heights above 3m see our pitch divider system. Features: - 1 2.7m or 3m high 76mm square winch post with ratchet tensioning device, galvanised, green powder coated - 1 2.7m or 3m high 76mm square anchor post with hook, galvanised, green powder coated - 2 hinged lid sockets 600mm deep (need to be installed in the ground) - 4mm wire cable 30m - 50mm x 2mm polypropylene knotted net, 2.85m or 3.3m high - Snaphooks or split rings every 300mm

Cricket net cage
|
Cricket Net Cages
Heavy duty cricket net cage with galvanised poles which fit into sockets concreted into the ground. These cages are
excellent for providing side and roof netting for outdoor practice wickets and are relatively simple to install and are very
durable. Side nets can be lifted to allow access for grounds maintenance equipment. The tubes are heavy duty 42mm diameter 3mm thick galvanised steel uprights and top tubes fitting in 460mm ground
sockets with base plates (which need to be concreted in). All the tubes are joined with galvanised elbow joints and top
tubes have 11 net hooks for attaching the net every 300mm. Netting recommended is 50mm x 2mm green or black
polypropylene netting which is fixed to the frame and held down to the ground with 18cm steel pegs There are 2 standard sizes but we can make special sizes on request. - 7.3m long x 3.6m wide x 3m high - 7.3m long x 7.3m wide x 3m high For double bays the centre wing net can be extended a further 7.3m to provide additional protection for the bowlers Features: - 42.4mm diameter 3mm thick galvanised heavu duty steel tube - galvanised clamp fittings for all joins - Uprights in 2 heights 2.7m or 3.6m above ground - ground sockets 460mm deep with base plates (need to be set in concrete) - netting hooks for roof net (these slide over the top tubes and 11 are required on each tube)

Cricket Mats
Course cricket mat with plain backing
Cricket mat with a hard wearing coarse denier plain un backed carpet. This is UV stabilised and is suitable for interior and
exterior use. The carpet is 2m wide and available in any length (we recommend 14m but a minimum of 9-12m for a practice wicket). We do not recommend the unbacked carpets for use in sports halls unless the carpet can be fixed down to prevent it sliding.
These are normally for laying direct to a shockpad to create a medium speed wicket.
Fine cricket mat with plain backing
Cricket mat with a fine denier plain un backed carpet. This is UV stabilised and is suitable for interior and exterior use.
Cricket mat with rubber crumb backing
This is UV stabilised so can be used for internal or external use, however we recommend the PVC backed carpet for external
use as it will wear better. The carpet is available 2m wide and in any length required (we recommend 14m but a minimum
of 9-12m for a practice wicket).
Cricket mat with PVC backing
Cricket mat with 100% polypropylene textured needle ribbed surface and a heavy duty 2mm thick non-slip PVC backing. The thick backing and UV stabilised fibres makes this ideal for interior or exterior use with or without a shockpad.
This can be laid direct to a stone or concrete base or with a shockpad to make a slower wicket. The carpet is available
2m wide and in any length (we recommend 14m but a minimum of 9-12m for a practice wicket).
